Finished 302...
It's stock except for the headers and valve covers

The headers are reversed to fit the FFR side pipes

My secret, OR how I put it all back together

Bend the stock fuel lines up to clear the header

Convertible motor mounts are stronger than stock.

Move the air valves up and out of the way like this

Don't forget the ground wire

The valve covers are taller than stock so the throttle bracket must be raised

This vacuum T hit the taller valve cover and needed to be "adjusted" Read: Ground down until it's paper thin.

Move the oil sender out of the way of the header. Still seems mighty close.

Use some silicone to hold the O ring in place.

Oil filter relocator on the engine

Rework the AC bracket

Before

After

You might also want to add a bracket similar to this to reinforce the idler pulley bracket

Following are a bunch of "before" engine shots for reference

Engine after cleaning

I marked the distributor position, but forgot to do the rotor.
(Dumb move!)

The sparkplugs all look good.

Cleaned up and painted

I still have lots of parts to install
